The 2025 China Rafting League (Dujiangyan Stop), organized by the Water Sports Management Center of China's General Administration of Sport, kicked off with great energy at Dujiangyan's Hongkou Scenic Area. Alongside 60 elite teams competing in the professional category, the event introduced an innovative mass-category doubles packraft race.

Family-Friendly Innovation

A special family registration channel was opened, allowing children aged 6 to 15 to safely experience the thrill of competitive water sports accompanied by their parents. The mass category became the heart and soul of the event, with the newly added doubles packraft race attracting many families and creating warm scenes of "big and small" pairs on the water.

Inspiring Young Courage

One remarkable moment came from the youngest participant, a brave 7-year-old, who teamed up with his father to take on the adult course. Facing the more challenging post-rain waters, the little paddler went from nervous hesitation to determined perseverance, completing the entire course without any collisions, falls, or capsizes.

For them, the ranking didn't matter — the shared experience of overcoming the challenge perfectly showcased youthful courage and father-son teamwork.

MRS Packrafts Dominate Championships

Team Oudaqi from the MRS Paddling Academy demonstrated strong performance right from the start, ultimately winning the mass category championship with a score of 1236.88. The competition showcased the exceptional performance of MRS equipment across all skill levels.
